We invite you to join us for art, jewelry, food, wine and live music as we celebrate our 8th Visiting Artist Series event on Thursday, August 20 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm.
Our artist on display is Arthur Kirkby, a multi-media artist inspired by Andy Warhol through the book Edie. Using his love of Warholesque colors and found objects, he immortalizes the icons he comes in contact with. His first work captured the essence of the much-loved Miss Sarah Cannon, aka Minnie Pearl, and can now be seen hanging in Connie Britton’s “studio” on the set of the TV show Nashville. Part camp and part pop-culture comment, his work is brilliant in every way.
We will also have jewelry on display by Debe Dohrer at the opening event. As founder and owner of CustomRAGS, Debe Dohrer’s extensive background in the art of structuring a distinct wardrobe for her high profile clientele naturally transitioned into debe dohrer design, an “off loom” woven “textile” beading technique using Japanese glass beads, semi-precious stones, and various metals created to architecturally enhance one’s wardrobe.
The Lipman Group Sotheby’s International Realty is known for artfully uniting extraordinary properties with extraordinary lives and this special event will unite extraordinary local artists with Nashville homeowners. With live music by Fletcher, Bell & Ward this will be one of our best events yet! We look forward to seeing you at our office located at 2002 Richard Jones Road, Suite C-104.
